Time:12:00 am
Location:Wellfleet Preservation Hall
Address: 335 Main Street Wellfleet
Gather – in person and informally! — to explore our lives in prose. This weekly group will be led by author Jill Teitelman, who will provide encouragement and writing prompts to help you start something new or continue with a work in process. You do not have to share what you write or respond to others’ work. This isn’t about criticizing, improving or publishing. It’s about listening and responding from our hearts. Let’s see what happens.
4 Tuesdays in April: 4/5, 4/12, 4/19 & 4/26
Free and all are welcome * Registration required
JILL TEITELMAN has taught Writing at the School of Visual Arts, Pratt Institute and Simmons College. Her stories have been published in once-famous literary magazines. Her autobiographical novel, SAVING GRACIE, has received rave reviews (but no movie options so far).
My teaching is in the spirit of Nancy Aronie’s Chilmark Writing Workshop. I recommend her Writing from the Heart and the forthcoming Memoir as Medicine. – Jill
